From a Railway Carriage

From a Railway Carriage
Faster than fairies, faster than witches,
Bridges and houses, hedges and ditches;
And charging along like troops in a battle
All through the meadows the horses and cattle:
All the sights of the hill and the plain
Fly as thick as driving rain;
And ever again, in the wink of an eye,
Painted stations whistle by.
Here is a child who clambers and scrambles,
All by himself and gathering brambles;
Here is a tramp who stands and gazes,
And there is the green for stringing the daisies;
Here is a cart run away in the road
Lumping along with man and load;
And here is a mill and there is a river:
Each a glimpse and gone forever- ROBERT LOUIS STEVENSON

Dear Ramesh,
I hope you are fine. I am very happy to tell you about the preparations I have made for our picnic trip to Chitrakoot Waterfall.
First of all, I took permission from my parents and teachers. We have decided to go early in the morning by bus. I have packed my bag with some snacks, fruits, water bottles, and a lunch box. I also kept my camera to take beautiful photos of the waterfall. We have arranged some games and a mat to sit and relax.
Our teachers have instructed us to follow discipline and safety rules. We are all very excited because Chitrakoot Waterfall is known as the Niagara of India. I hope the weather will be pleasant on that day.
I wish you were coming with us. I will share my experience after returning.
Yours lovingly,
XYZ
